Just your typical pre-9am Wednesday

The city has gone bonkers. There's this thing the G20....maybe you've heard of it? Driving everyone absolutely mental. This morning I navigated my way around a caution-taped minivan where tons of cops were milling around, in full defense gear. On the other side of the caution tape was the 'Emergency Task Force: Explosive Disposal Unit' van with all their trained specialists. I snapped a couple pics on my phone while I waited at a red light on my bike but I don't have my USB cord-y thing with me. Such a crazy energy downtown, everywhere I look is a cop. I can't even fathom what it's like down near the MTCC. It's now an on-going joke at work that if I don't make it in Friday, it's because I've been killed in an explosion.....haha. In all reality, I'm really not that bothered. I'm proud of everyone who's down there, using their voice and demanding change. There are many things that need to be addressed by these 'great' 20 and it's up to us, the people, to use our power of numbers to ensure these issues get addressed properly.
